Halcyon Point Subdivision, Big Lake, Alaska (2009): 3PPI conducted wetlands delineations and a rapid assessment Functional Assessment of a 9.5-acre housing project adjacent to Big Lake. Afterwards a PJD was written and provided to the client who was submitting his own USACE Section 404 permit. 3PPI helped with the mitigation statement, provided insight on the new Alaska mitigation rule, and provided additional ideas on how to reduce impacts to the project in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. The project has been permitted and is now ready for the construction phase.
