ikeGPS™ by Surveylab: The collection of large amounts of field data requires automated systems for recording the GPS location where photos are taken, and watermarking them with this information. In 2008, 3PPI began using ikeGPS™ by Surveylab, state-of-the-art mobile devices capable of full integration with Esri® products via an ArcPad platform. Script development was completed by RDI and has been used since the 2008 field season. (http://www.ikeGPS.com) Prior to the ikeGPS™, 3PPI used the Kodak Field Imaging System, and together with RDI, developed project-specific scripts and loading routines to support our database and various Esri® platforms.
